what a girl wants and what a woman needs
A girl needs a boyfriend
to make her feel loved,
to keep her company whenever she is bored and lonely.
A girl needs her friends
as soul mates so that she can confide in them,
as shopping khaikis during sales,
or simply sit around at a coffee house to bitch.
Yes it’s bitching session when all girls meet.
They’ll bitch about anything and everything,
For one simple reason, this is,
girls are girls.
A woman needs a husband.
Someone whom she can spend the rest of her life with.
Someone whom she knows will always be around for her
through the good and bad times.
Someone to catch her whenever she falls.
Someone who can lend a shoulder to cry on when she’s sad,
a shoulder to lean on when she’s tired.
Someone who can give her a hug everyday
and tells her she will be loved.
Someone whom if she doesn’t spend enough time with,
But still know that she cares for him.
And at the end of the day, yet they still come together,
to spend whatever time is left at the end of day,
be it through a simple telephone call just to say good night
or talking awhile on the phone.
It’s enough for her because she can feel that
he’s just there right beside her.
But where can I find such a man?
When will I meet the fateful one?
Or have I missed him?
Or have he just left?
Or is he standing there among the crowd,
just waiting to meet me?
